2006 Season - Irish Champion!!
Friday 26th January 2007

This year was definately the most enjoyable season of racing that I have had. My plan was not to go faster or beat everyone but to go out and enjoy it and I surely did!

I had a 2004 Yamaha R1 Superbike courtesy of Irish Bike Magazine and 'Old Daisy' for the Irish Pre97 Championship. My main Sponsors for the year were yet again The Robinson Group, PWL Developments and Q Leisure.

I finally won my first Irish National title winning the Pre97 Championship as well as the Southern Centre Timeless Pre97 Championship for the third year in a row. I won 11 races on 'Old Daisy' finished on the podium on 15 occasions. I had a pretty good year on the 'Big Grunter' too finishing 18th in The Irish Superbike Championship after only competing in selected rounds and 4th Overall in the Southern Centre Open Championship.

I also took part in my first British Superbike Championship meeting at Mondello in the Superstock class on the R1. We never got to race because the rain came and it never stopped. So it was re-scheduled to Donnington Park as a support race to the MotoGP. So off we went for a few laps with Valentino and the boys. A great experience but way out of my league!!!

A good end to a great year but how could it get any better??? Bring on the Celtic boys!!

2005 Season
Thursday 25th January 2007

In Short... Yet again finished runner-up in the Irish Pre97 Championship and yet again won the timeless Pre97 Championship at Mondello.

In April I had my first and ONLY road race win at Cookstown100. I won the Junior Support race smashing the previous lap record along the way.

What could of went wrong made Eastenders look like Seseame Street! So to get the full effect this report will be known as 'Bigmanenders'!!!!!

THE 2004 UPDATES!!!!
Friday 27th August 2004

So I balls up my PC with some worm. No updates and no bullshit. So heres as much bullshit as I can muster rolled up into one big fat one!

Irish Superbike, Mondello Park. 18th April 2004
Wednesday 5th May 2004

After all the pissing rain at Nutts corner the day before, i was hoping for a nice dry track for a bit of real scratching. Did we get it...did we feck?

Mondello in the pissing rain with a bad entry and no crowd is a dismal way to spend a Sunday!

Irish Clubmans 3, Nutts Corner, 17th April 2004
Monday 19th April 2004

It was my first return to Nutts Corner after my big crash last year when I was torpedoed by another rider; so to say that I was looking forward to it would be rather sarcastic!

I would have rather of stuck me nuts in a mincer!

Irish Superbike, Aghadowey, Easter Saturday 2004
Tuesday 13th April 2004

As I entered the arena of the Aghadowey Speedway Boulevard I could not help notice that the real road racers had turned up in there tens for a wee spin out before the Cookstown in two weeks time. It was great to see them all with all there amazing machinery before the pot hole and puddle jumping starts for another year! I tell ya what though...those boys are not a bit slow!!!

Clubmans Championship 2, Mondello Park, 4th April 2004
Monday 5th April 2004

I know I go on a bit, bullshitting my way through my race reports; but I have to say that this weekend at Mondello kinda takes the biscuit!

Anything that could happen, did happen. And believe me pain always seem to come with the glory!

Clubmans Championship 1, Aghadowey, 27th March 2004
Sunday 28th March 2004

I nearly got sacked last week after I asked for Friday off to go practising. So when I finally wrangled my way out of work on Thursday evening, I thought I better make this day off worthwhile, as it could be my last!

So as I made a balls of anothers days racing, I guess I better start looking for another job!

Irish Superbike, Mondello Park. 21st March 2004
Sunday 21st March 2004

Pissing rain. High winds. A greasy tarmac surface. What more could a man ask for?

Do not even start me!!
