USGPRU 250GP Round 1 Topeka, Kansas
Tuesday 1st May 2007

I headed off with the pick up and trailer for Round 1 of the US 250 Championship in Topeka Kansas. I needed a good steady start to the season but of course...'Steady' and 'Bigman' just dont really go together!

Daytona here we come!!
Monday 26th February 2007

After four long weeks of building bloody four stroke R6's, we are almost set for the Daytona 200. We will leaving in 2 days time, on Tuesday. After another evening of snow in New York, I cannot wait to get to a bit of warmer weather.

We will arrive on Wednesday, set up Thursday and take to the track on Thursday. I think I will have a bit of running in to do on the 600's as well as getting the 250 ready to rock for my Lightweight GP race on Saturday. I may also get a run on the 600 in a sprint race but we will have to wait and see.

The following week we will prepare for the '200' when Chaz the main man Davies will be taking on the factory boys. I will try and keep you informed best I can while I am away.

I hope to have pictures of the new bike up soon in the gallery.

Till next time.....

Testing...Thats the new thing is it?
Tuesday 20th February 2007

After suffering in a week of below -10 degrees, Barry decided that enough was enough and we should head for the sun. After a few phone calls we located a track in North Florida where there was two days of track days on. Good man Barry!!

I loaded up the race wagon with 4 125's for the lads and my TSR with all the spares I had ...just in case! It would be a long way to go to be stuck for something!

The Bigman Has Landed!
Saturday 3rd February 2007

We landed at JFK on Tuesday to a much colder climate. Barry(Team Celtic Owner) collected The Hamster and meself from the airport and we headed for the teams workshop in New Jersey.

The Formula Extreme factory Yamaha bikes had arrived just before us and are breathtaking in there splendour. They are basically 600cc Superbikes with slick tyres, Ohlins Gas forks, Brembo brakes and the whole works! They really are trick bits of equipment!

As well as being in the bed on Wednesday and Thursday with the flu, I have been to the airport today to collect my own bike. At present, I know I have the same box that i sent out...it could be full of concrete blocks but hopefully when I open it tomorrow I will find my little treasure!!!

We are supposed to be going to watch some ice racing on Sunday so that should be good. I will let you know the craic!!
